In January 2020 I started my PhD at the rheumatology department, focusing on gout. For this, I temporarily paused my rheumatology residency training. In October 2023 I will restart my training, combined with finishing my PhD.
My PhD focusses on optimizing urate-lowering therapy treatment strategies for gout patients in remission.
