I am interested in the impact of psychosocial and behavioural factors on the disease course, treatment outcomes and well-being of people with chronic (pain) conditions. In particular, I focus on the impact of pain and fatigue on daily life.
I am trained as a (bio)psychologist (Utrecht University) and obtained my PhD on the management of psychological burden of disease in rheumatic diseases.
