In February 2022 I started as a junior researcher at the Sint Maartenskliniek. My first research focuses on the effect of CalciumButyrate on intestinal functioning and how this affects (hand)osteoarthritis. In addition, I am working on studies that look at which medication works more effectively or could possibly work in people with osteoarthritis. With these studies I want to improve the care for osteoarthritis patients (of the Sint Maartenskliniek) to improve their quality of life.
