After having worked as a rehabilitation physiotherapist, Miranda is since 2006 employed as a health scientist. Since 2010, Miranda has been working as a full-time researcher in orthopedics. In 2017, she obtained her PhD as a clinical epidemiologist. Her focus: development of decision support and (methodology of) clinical outcome studies in spine-related disorders, use of 3D-printed implants and prosthetic-joint-infections.
