Since 2005 I have been working at the Sint Maartenskliniek Research Department. I mainly focus on motor functioning and within this theme I supervise several PhD students. My research addresses the control and biomechanics of gait in patients with complex gait problems. In November 2021 I was appointed as professor of Clinical Motor Control at the Radboud University Nijmegen, Faculty of Social Sciences.
