Blended care pirate group
A new version of the pirate group has been developed. This pirate group has less training sessions at the Sint Maartenskliniek and has more focus on practising at home. This research will investigate the feasibility of the blended care pirate group.
The pirate group was designed for children with cerebral palsy to train their affected hand. During the training their unaffected hand is restrained with a sling.
However, due to shortage in medical personnel and the high demand for both parent as child, the blended care pirate group has been developed. This version has less training sessions at the clinic and has more focus on practising at home. By keeping track of the sessions at home, interviews with parents and pre- and post-measurements, the feasibility of the blended care pirate group will be measured.
