After my study Biomedical Health Sciences (Radboud University) I have been working at the Research department of the Sint Maartenskliniek since 2001. I focus on rehabilitation research of people with lower limb amputations, stroke survivors, people with spinal cord injury and thalidomide survivors. As a member of the research communication committee, I contribute to improving the communication and profiling of the Sint Maartenskliniek in the field of research.
