I’m a scientist in the field of clinical Orthopedics and have a degree in Biomedical Health Sciences. My PhD was on clinical and technical aspects of balanced gap total knee replacement (2011). As research lead on orthopedic innovations my research focuses on innovative clinical research on fixation methods, function and kinematics of primary and revision total knee replacements, personalized implants, and diagnostics in prosthetic joint infections. I serve on the board of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) and the International Radiostereometry Society (iRSA) and am reviewer for several international scientific journals.
